Privacy

In short: we collect what you send us through the contact form, a call booking or email, plus anonymous visit statistics. If we contacted you first, we also keep a short record built from public sources. We use this data to reply to you, to improve the site and, for companies we contact, to offer relevant services.

Who is responsible

The data controller for this website is SoulToSoul (Serge Radkevics), Portugal. For anything related to your personal data, email hello@soultosoul.dev.

What we collect

  • Contact form: your name, email, company (optional), your message and the topic you picked.
  • Call booking: your name, email, company (optional), what you want to talk about and the time you picked.
  • Email: whatever you send us when you write to hello@soultosoul.dev.
  • Visit statistics: anonymous, aggregated page views and clicks (for example, how many people opened the services page). We use Vercel Web Analytics for this. It sets no cookies and does not identify you across sites or days.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to prepare a proposal (steps taken at your request before a contract, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), and to understand which pages are useful so we can improve the site (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)). We do not sell your data, send newsletters you didn't ask for, or use it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

We use a small number of providers to run this site:

  • Vercel (hosting and anonymous analytics)
  • Neon (database where contact form messages and bookings are stored)
  • Jitsi Meet (video link for booked calls, unless we agree another tool)
  • Slack (internal notification when a message arrives)
  • Neo (our email provider)

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, such as in the United States. When they do, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework cover the transfer.

If we contacted you first

When we reach out to a company, we keep a short record built from public sources: the company name, website, sector and, where it is published, the name and role of a relevant contact, together with where we found it. We do this on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) to offer services relevant to your business. Tell us you're not interested and we'll delete the record and not contact you again.

How long we keep it

If an enquiry doesn't turn into a project, we delete it within 24 months of our last conversation. If we work together, we keep project correspondence for as long as the law requires us to keep business records.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, so you won't see a cookie banner.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, or object to how we use it. Email hello@soultosoul.dev and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (cnpd.pt).
